I’m pleased to post a shot of my new mixed media piece, called One Nation, Under Ground.  I won’t offer up too much background on this one, but if you’ve seen any of my other pieces, it’s a very fitting addition to the collection. I’ve received several emails asking about my process, so I took a few shots during the making of this piece and will be posting a “behind the scenes” of how it came together. Look for it in the next week or so.

I am fascinated by the creative process. Not just in my own work, but the process itself. How others create and why. In my endeavors to understand my own process, I have recently been reaching out to artists, designers and photographers whose work I admire asking if they would be interested in providing a bit of insight and discuss their own creative processes. I am pleased to announce that thus far, everyone I have approached has said that they would be happy to participate. It’s looking like there will be interviews as well as podcasts as I attempt to explore the inner workings of creativity. I’ll make a more detailed announcement as things start coming together. Stay tuned…

What is beauty? Where does life end? In my new mixed media piece, I am exploring the nature of beauty and how we define it.
